With the Nissan Z Flex Fuel Kit you can run gasoline, E85, or any mixture of gas and ethanol with a content rating from 0 to 100% ethanol. Our flex fuel system’s ethanol sensor and electronics instruct your vehicle’s ECU on how to adjust parameters like fueling, boost, and timing to produce the most power possible for a given fuel or mixture of fuels. These adjustments happen seamlessly in the background of your flex fuel tune allowing you to be flexible with what fuel you utilize in your Z. Featuring a Zeitronix CAN Bus content analyzer to directly integrate with the OEM vehicle control systems, this is a set-it-and-forget-it flex fuel system that requires no adjustment once installed and tuned. Our AMS Calibration team has spent countless hours working with EcuTek on their flex fuel development program, meaning the AMS Nissan Z Flex Fuel Kit is now directly compatible with EcuTek calibration software, making tuning a breeze.

The AMS Performance Nissan Z Fuel Filter has been designed to be the highest quality and most sophisticated solution for fuel filtering of the VR30 engine on the market. As many have experienced, OEM fuel system component failures are fairly common on the VR30 engine, especially when using higher concentrations of ethanol like E50 or E85. Ethanol is an excellent high octane fuel source with its high alcohol content, and because of this it also acts as a cleaning agent. For some cars, this can dislodge sediment in the fuel tank and lines built up over years of running low grade gasoline. One of the best ways to prevent this dislodged foreign object debris from making its way into the injectors or engine itself is by utilizing a high quality in-line fuel filter.

Also included in the Nissan Z Flex Fuel Kit are a number of brackets which are designed to secure the various fuel lines and components within the kit to OEM bolt locations. Where other kits leave items like the content sensor unsecured to move around in the engine bay, we provide stainless steel brackets to mount these pieces. This is done to prevent any possibility of damage to the lines from continuously rubbing on other components, as well as to prevent fittings from possibly loosening over time, causing a dangerous fuel leak.
