After purchase, Racebox sends a custom base map to your phone via EcuTek PhoneFlash or MHD. You flash the car at home in your driveway, send back datalogs from a few pulls, and the tuner refines the calibration for your specific car. Most customers receive their first map within 24-48 hours and are fully dialed in within a week.

What hardware do I need to flash a Racebox tune?

For EcuTek platforms (Infiniti Q50/Q60 VR30, Nissan Z, R35 GT-R, F80/F82 S55) you need the ECU Connect Vehicle Interface Kit. For BMW B58 and S58 platforms you need an MHD cable and an MHD license. The required hardware is listed on each tune product page; if anything is unclear, contact the team before purchasing.

What fuel do I need for a Racebox tune?

Racebox supports 91/93 octane pump gas, E30 (about 30 percent ethanol), E50, and E85. Higher ethanol content allows more timing and boost, producing significantly more power on the same hardware.
